When Dan and his family moved to Las Vegas, they had no idea how a little pup named Gigi would change their life.

After settling into their new home, Dan and his family knew they wanted a dog, so they came to The Animal Foundation. They were walking through the kennels and saw Gigi, a cute little ball of fluff who came right up to greet them. Once in a play yard, Gigi ran right up to Dan’s wife and snuggled into her lap. Gigi had chosen her family.

11 years later Gigi is now the protector of the home, guardian of the grandkids, and the mobile vacuum keeping the house crumb free.

“I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and have never loved a pet as much as I love Gigi. She loves us unconditionally,” Dan says. Gigi goes on a daily morning walk with Dan, and he can tell it is Gigi’s favorite time of day.
