URGENT: We Need Fosters

We are in a critical space crisis due to the high number of animals flooding into The Animal Foundation. Over the last two weeks, we have taken in 917 animals!
We currently have over 744 animals in our care.
We are out of space to house any more dogs on our campus, and we are facing some very difficult decisions to ensure the well-being of our animals and team. This is our heartbreaking reality. We simply do not have room for the new animals that are coming in every day.
PLEASE foster. We URGENTLY need 50 dogs (any size, over 6 months old) to go into temporary foster homes so we can make more space in our shelter. We’re asking people to foster for at least a week.
We’re making it easier than ever to foster. NOW through Monday, February 19 - please come directly to our adoptions building to pick up a dog. You do not need an appointment. We are ready to assist you from 11 am to 7 pm. We are normally closed on Mondays, but we will be open this Monday due to the high number of animals in our shelter.
We have a list of dogs ready to go home with you, but you can also find available dogs on our website: https://bit.ly/3Q6BlJc
We will help pair you with a dog that works best for your home. To expedite the process, we encourage you to fill out our foster application before you arrive. https://bit.ly/3nNZhH6
There is no cost to foster. We will provide you with food, crates, a leash, or anything you might need. If you end up falling in love with your foster dog and want to make it permanent, we will waive the dog’s adoption fee.
The Animal Foundation is located at 655 North Mojave Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
